This fantastic 18-hole golf course is located in the exclusive Playa Mujeres complex on the mainland section of Isla Mujeres and is recognized as one of the best golf courses in Mexico. Nestled in an unspoiled natural landscape, it is surrounded by mangroves, sand dunes and bodies of water, and frequently families of different species can be observed walking across the fairways.

The concierge is always available to coordinate reservations, practice games before the tee-off, transportation from the hotel lobby to the Clubhouse, clubs and cart rental, as well as assistance with storing personal equipment.

Golf services in ATELIER Playa Mujeres

The golf course at ATELIER Playa Mujeres offers a 7218 yard, 18-hole game, divided into two majestic settings: 9 holes beside the Chachmuchuch lagoon and 9 holes hugged by sand dunes, with a backdrop of an unbeatable view of the Caribbean Sea.

The Playa Mujeres Golf Course has Paspalum grass on its greens, tee boxes, and fairways, offering a strategic Par 72 game suitable for both beginners and experienced players.

The concierge at ATELIER Playa Mujeres also offers assistance with club rental, and renting golf carts 1 with integrated GPS showing the distance between the player and the 18 holes.

Tips for beginners and those with a little more experience:

  • The grass on the Playa Mujeres golf course is very resistant, however it is important to use shoes with flexible soles that will not cause too much damage, as well as offering a more comfortable playing experience.
  • For a better grip (when holding the golf club) it is important to use special gloves.
  • The Club House offers a Pro Shop, open from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm, with a selection of items for sale, including souvenirs and gloves, as well as rental of world famous Taylormade M2® golf clubs.
  • Green and Twilight Times:
    • Green Fee: 7:00 am - 12:50 pm
    • Twilight Fee: 1:00 pm – until the sun goes down
      Estimated length of game: from 3.5 to 4 hours.

  • Extra rounds have an additional charge.
  • During play, guests of ATELIER Playa Mujeres can enjoy a complimentary bottle of water. Beers, liquors such as whisky, rum, tequila, energy drinks, extra water bottles and juices, as well as snacks, served during play have an additional cost.
  • Rounds of golf at Playa Mujeres do not include balls; each player can bring his/her own or purchase them at the Pro Shop. Practice games include a basket of 100 balls.

How to get to the ATELIER Playa Mujeres Golf Course?

As part of the benefits for guests of ATELIER Playa Mujeres, the hotel concierge can coordinate reserving transportation from the lobby for game day, as well as any other additional request ($). It is recommendable to be ready in the lobby area 30 minutes before tee time to avoid delays in the transfer and registration at the Clubhouse.
